Carnegie Mellon Human Resources provides a wide range of tools, services and information resources to the people of Carnegie Mellon, whether current or prospective employees, students or visitors. Human Resources is part of the Division of Administrative Services. We consist of several offices:

Our Vision
Human Resources will provide the highest quality consulting, tools, products and services to the managers and employees of Carnegie Mellon in support of the goals of the university.
Our Mission
We will:
- Collaborate with senior management to formulate effective human resource
strategies, policies and programs to support the university's goals and objectives,
improve management processes, address employee needs, and provide cost-effective
services.
- Provide managers and supervisors with the information, tools, systems and
support services to effectively develop their human resources and achieve
department goals.
- Make available to employees the information, tools, systems and support
services which enable them to manage their careers in support of the success
of the university.
The Mission and Vision of Human Resources align directly with the Carnegie Mellon Strategic Plan. Our efforts and resources are directed toward helping the university achieve its goals.
