ADA AccomodationsReasonable accommodations will be provided to faculty, staff and students as guided by the Americans with Disabilities Act. We work with individuals on a case-by-case basis to determine what their specific needs are and what reasonable accommodations can be provided. EmployeesEqual Opportunity Services can provide assistance to employees seeking university accommodations for permanent, long-term or short-term disabilities. The university annually offers each employee the opportunity to identify himself or herself as a disabled individual and/or Vietnam Era Veteran. However, an employee may self identify that they have a disability at any time by contacting Equal Opportunity Services at 8-2012 or by email to Equal Opportunity Services. EOS can also answer your questions regarding reasonable accommodations that may be provided as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act. For questions regarding long-term disability, short-term disability or family medical leave(FMLA), contact the Human Resources Service Center at 268-4747. StudentsStudents with documented disabilities may be eligible to receive services from Carnegie Mellonšs Equal Opportunity Services Office.
