- Dependent Care Reimbursement Account
(DCRA)
Allows full-time benefits-eligible employees to contribute money into a reimbursement account before taxes are assessed. The funds can then be used to pay for qualifying dependent care expenses. The DCRA results in significant savings to the employee by reducing the amount of income taxes one pays.
There are tax consequences for the use of employer-provided child care benefits, such as the Dependent Care Reimbursement Account and the Cyert Center Sliding Scale benefit. Make sure you are aware of the tax implications of these benefits.
