- Playwright - Lynne Conner, Ph.D.

Lynne Conner serves as the playwright for all the Interactive Theatre scenarios at Carnegie Mellon University. She researched each scenario script by reading scholarly research, self-help books and other novels dealing with issues that may surface in the workplace and in classroom environments. In addition, Conner is an Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, a theatre historian, and an arts consultant. In the past, she has published several books and written articles for the Oxford Encyclopedia of Theatre and Performance, Theatre Studies and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, to name a few.
- Director - Brenda Harger

Brenda Harger, serves as the director of the Interactive Theatre Company as well as one of its actors. Harger is a Professor of Entertainment Technology at Carnegie Mellon University, in addition to being a director, and an improviser. Harger has been working to apply her skills in directing and improvisation to electronic media. In the past Harger taught improv workshops nationally and internationally and was also the Entertainment Director for the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival. Currently she is a consultant to the Pittsburgh Children's Museum.
- Karen Baum
- Karen Baum is a professional free lance actress & teaching artist. Karen has performed locally with PICT, UnSeam'd Shakespeare, The Playhouse REP, City, JTOP, Bricolage, Pgh. Playwrights, Starlight, Pitt's Shakespeare-in-the-Schools, & soon The Public. In addition to film & radio, she most recently was seen in SPIKE TV's The KillPoint, season 1. Baum was named Best Supporting Actress of 2006 by The Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
- Ken Bolden
- Ken Bolden has been lucky enough to work in nearly all of the Pittsburgh area theatres from City Theatre, Pittsburgh Irish & Classical Theatre, Quantum, Barebones, The Playhouse, Playwrights' Theatre, and the Public Theatre. Additionally, he has performed off-off Broadway, and in Regional theatres in the US, Great Britain, and Ireland. He has taught acting at the CLO Academy, Duquesne University, and the University of Pittsburgh.

- Erick Irvis
- Irvis is both a local actor and playwright. The Pittsburgh New Works Festival featured a play written by Irvis, The Leah Period. He has also appeared in numerous local plays including The Wild Duck at the Quantum Theatre.
- Dan Krell
- In addition to performing with the Interactive Theatre company at Carnegie Mellon, Dan Krell is also an Advanced Acting Trainer for the Pittsburgh Playhouse. He has performed locally in Guys and Dolls with the Civic Light Opera and in Broadway: The Play with the Pittsburgh Public Theatre.
- Doug Mertz
- Doug Mertz is a professional actor and teacher. As an actor he has appeared at the Pittsburgh Public Theatre, City Theatre, Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre, Unseam’d Shakespeare Company, the Playhouse REP and Quantum. Doug is also a teaching artist at the University of Pittsburgh where was seen last spring in a production of three Chekhov farces, The Bear, The Proposal, and The Wedding, and toured in Romeo and Juliet for Pitt’s Shakespeare in the Schools (SITS) program. In Spring 2008, he’ll be touring in Macbeth for SITS and appearing in The American Clock by Arthur Miller.
- Larry John Meyers
- Larry John Meyers has acted with many local theatre companies including The Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre, The Pittsburgh Public Theatre and the University of Pittsburgh Repertory Theatre. In addition to performing in Moby Dick Rehearsed, Awake and Sing! and The Gigli Concert, Meyers is also a Teaching Artist at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Theatre Arts. Meyers was formerly voted Performer of the Year by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
- John Shepherd
- John Shepherd has also performed with numerous local theatre companies including The Quantum Theatre and The Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre. Works that Shepherd has performed in include Closer, A Woman of No Importance, and Speaking in Tongues.
- Lola Komisin
- Lola Komisin, an Organizational Development Consultant at Carnegie Mellon University, has more than 15 years of experience in leadership and organizational development in university, healthcare, and manufacturing environments. As a professional development manager and executive coach in industry and healthcare, Lola has designed and implemented corporate-wide initiatives related to leadership and management development, 360 degree feedback, performance management, culture change and team effectiveness.
- Ron Placone
- Ron Placone is the Director of Learning and Development. Prior to joining Carnegie Mellon in 1999, Ron was Director of Organizational Development and Communications for Mellon Network Services. Ron has served as an executive consultant to several corporate and not-for-profit organizations in Western Pennsylvania, and as a Lecturer in Business Communications for the Katz School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. He has delivered presentations on individual and organizational effectiveness at regional and national conferences.
- Barbara Smith
- Barbara Smith is the Associate Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Carnegie Mellon University. Previously Barbara was Deputy Director of Human Resources at Princeton University. She is currently the Past Chair of the Board of the Eastern Region of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR). At Carnegie Mellon, Barbara also serves as a member of the President’s Diversity Advisory Council, chair of the Culture and Climate Working Group, staff coordinator for sexual harassment advising, coordinator for the Andy Awards program, and founder of the Women Supporting Women mentoring program.
