- Staff Tuition Grant for Children Set for 2008-09 Academic Year: For the upcoming 2008-2009 academic year, the tuition grant for children of staff attending another university has been increased to $3,250 per semester, or $6,500 per year (up from $3,050 per semester/$6,100 per academic year in 07-08). Eligibility rules apply.
- Free Dermatological Screenings on May 8: May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month, and Student Health Services is offering a Dermatological Screening from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May. 8. To schedule, call 8-2157 and press "appointment advice".
- Nominate Staff for an Andy Award by July 2: Carnegie Mellon recognizes staff whose outstanding dedication and performance have had a significant impact on the university through the Andy Awards program. Contact Darlene Scalese with any questions. Nominations can be submitted online. Save the date for the Andy Awards Ceremony on September 12.
